Moshiai
Moshiai is not strictly a basho (structured tournament held over several days) but a form of single day training where rikishi compete in a winner-stays-on series of "practice bouts", starting with the lowest ranking rikishi.
In Virtual Sumo these can be used by stable masters (you) to look at new strategies or the effects of training improvments or weight changes.
Multiple riksihi from the same stable can be entered and fight against one another - unlike in honbasho.
A single ring strategy for each riksihi will be employed for all their bouts in the moshiai and no notice will be given of bout pairings beforehand, although we may list the entries for a moshiai on this page prior to the event.
The outcomes from a moshiai will be posted on this page and there may be reference to them on the News page.
It is the intention to hold a moshiai every few days (depending on numbers). Results and outcomes will not be stored but over-written so if you have entered rikishi, make sure to keep tabs on this page.

Moshiai will only take place out of honbasho.
