As a stable master one of your key tasks is to recruit rikishi to your beya.

In Virtual Sumo fresh recruitment takes place at or near the beginning of each turn (month).

The total number of rikishi a stable can house is determined by the stables status (see the handbook for more details.)

Where a stable has capacity a new riksishi will be added each turn.  Unsigned rikishi will be allocated on a draft basis with the lowest ranking beya having first pick.

Where no selection is made, available rikishi will be allocated on a random basis.

Please make sure that your are selecting rikishi who are available to be drafted.  Unassigned rikishi are those whose ID number is in red on the Rikishi page.

To bid for the rikishi of your choice complete the form below having studied the Rikishi page and decided on your preferences.  You can name up to three rikishi, in order of preference.  If your first choice is already taken by the time your stable has its turn in the draft we will try and allocate the next, etc.  If none of your choices are free then a random rikishi will be allocated.

To make space for more rikishi in your beya, or to cement more status for your stable, you may decide to retire a rikishi.  Use the relevant form below to do this.  However, once retired you will not be able to reverse this decision although if the rikishi is young enough he may decide to make himself available for general recruitment.
